Kyle “Fattie B.” Thompson is co-owner and founder of STEEZ, a forward-thinking company built on the fusion of hip-hop / acid jazz and soul music mixed with art. Kyle has been an artist, DJ, MC and designer for the past 12 years. Kyle has recorded and created music not only in the U.S. and has toured with Belizbeha both in the U.S. and Germany. Thompson still currently DJ’s.

“STEEZ” is defined as someone’s unique style or one’s ability to present themselves with skill. This is the mindset that drives the artist. Thompson who works in acrylics and other kinds of paints is inspired by pop culture and artists Warhol, Haring and Fairey. Says Thompson: “I love bold, bright colors that relay a mood and garner attention. It's not just the image, but the color combination's, placement and size of a piece that carry weight as well.”

STEEZ targets a very specific clientele with an interest in urban street culture.

Growing up on the outskirts of Washington DC, artist Madsteez (AKA Mr. Ween) was peculiarly sculpted into what he is today. Born blind in his left eye with three first names – Mark Paul Deren – Madsteez, 26, took a turn in his life after an unfortunate loss in the 1985 Racquetball Championships. An ill sense of humor materialized through frequent games of Biscuit and developing nicknames for himself and friends. Madsteez became a ferocious kite walking, Nerds Rope eating, Dolorean loving, Zebra pin-striped fluorescent navy blue wearing young gentleman. His immeasurable abundance of creativity and electromagnetism has led to an extensive art collaboration list.
