Kyle “Fattie B.” Thompson is co-owner and founder of STEEZ, a forward-thinking company built on the fusion of hip-hop / acid jazz and soul music mixed with art. Kyle has been an artist, DJ, MC and designer for the past 12 years. Kyle has recorded and created music not only in the U.S. and has toured with Belizbeha both in the U.S. and Germany. Thompson still currently DJ’s.
“STEEZ” is defined as someone’s unique style or one’s ability to present themselves with skill. This is the mindset that drives the artist. Thompson who works in acrylics and other kinds of paints is inspired by pop culture and artists Warhol, Haring and Fairey. Says Thompson: “I love bold, bright colors that relay a mood and garner attention. It's not just the image, but the color combinations, placement and size of a piece that carry weight as well.”
STEEZ targets a very specific clientele with an interest in urban street culture.
